Proper (“Proper”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through propermktg.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us. When you fill out a form, book a call or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, website and any details you choose to share about your business.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time spent on the Site, the website that referred you and your general location (city or region). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Security information. To protect the Site from attacks and spam, our security tools log information such as IP addresses and login attempts.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their services:

  • GoHighLevel, for forms, scheduling and client communication;
  • Google (Google Analytics and Google Search Console), for website analytics;
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising measurement and audiences;
  • Hostinger, for website hosting;
  • Wordfence, for website security.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

6. Where your information is stored

Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. When this happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those countries, including access by courts and authorities there.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, such as responding to inquiries, providing services and meeting legal or accounting requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

U.S. residents. Residents of certain states, such as California, may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including a website firewall, login protection and secure (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
